Lash Lift & Tint

Why Choose a Lash Lift?

For fuller, longer lashes that stay looking luscious without mascara!

The process

Lash lifting is essentially a perm for your lashes. It takes up to an hour, enhancing your lashes by curling them upwards, making them appear longer, fuller, and more defined.

A small, flexible curved silicone pad is placed on your eyelid. This is where your natural lashes will be curled around. The size of the pad determines how dramatic the curl will be.

A special lifting solution is carefully applied to your lashes, which softens them and makes them malleable. This solution allows the technician to reshape your lashes around the silicone rod or pad.

After the lashes have been lifted and curled, a setting solution is applied to “lock” the curl in place.

Eyelash tinting is the process of applying a semi permanent colour to your lashes. A quick fix to darken and intensify the look of your lashes. We always include lash tinting with all lash lift appointments, who doesnt want their lashes looking fuller and longer?

The Result

Once your lashes are lifted, they remain lifted for their whole life span. You have an eyelash cycle of around 8 weeks and can lose up to 5 lashes a day on each eye. Once you have 80% new straight lashes it’s time to get them lifted again!

Before your appointment…

  • Do not wear waterproof mascara for 48 hours before your appointment.
  • Come to your appointment with completely clean lashes. Any remaining make up can act as a barrier and stop the lifting product working on the lashes.

You cannot receive this treatment if…

  • You have had your lashes lifted at another salon in the past 8 weeks.

Aftercare

  • Keep your eyelashes dry for the first 24 hours
  • Be extremely careful with your lashes for the first day!
  • Don’t excessively rub your eyes and avoid sleeping on your face during this time. Doing either of these things can change, or even ruin the curl.
  • Do not wear waterproof mascara whilst your lashes are lifted.
  • Do not use eyelash curlers, this can cut your lashes (it happens a lot!).
  • The spoolie lash brush provided at the end of your appointment is your new best friend. Brush your lashes morning and night! It’s also highly recommended to brush them after getting them wet and after removing your eye makeup.
